Each piece begins as a hand-blown colored bubble, serving as a blank canvas for intricate patterns carved with cutting wheels on a lathe. These cut patterns are called “Batutto”, Italian for “hammered”, are inspired by the look of hand-beaten copper vessels. The olive wheel-cuts show the soft, rhythmic surface texture. These elegant vessels are perfect for displaying flower bouquets, plant cuttings, or as standalone art pieces.
